With only a handful in production, the Stetson Obsidian is not a hat you see in the wild very often. Built for true pioneer spirits from pure fur felt for unbeatable softness and resilience, it features a grosgrain hat band and a new 1865 hat pin for a subtle dose of texture. The hand-sewn brown roan sweatband and satin liner provide a time-tested fit and premium comfort.

One of the finest hats in the Stetson collection, the Obsidian is made from a premium Beaver & Chinchilla fur felt blend. A shining example of the legendary craftsmanship Stetson is known for, this incredibly high-quality piece features classic fedora hat styling, with a 4 1/2″ crown and 2 3/4” brim. Hand-made in the U.S.A., the Obsidian has a soft finish, satin-lined crown and comfortable 2” premier roan leather sweatband with gold lacing. Each hat includes a plastic Stetson carrying case & an individually numbered certificate of ownership.
